What is a Hot Test?
A hot test is when the monitored user's test result is over their indicated BAC threshold listed on their profile as shown below.
With BACtrack View Enterprise, the system will automatically send additional test requests every 10 minutes, up to 6 tests or until the tester reaches their BAC threshold. This is referred to as a Hot Test series and is designed to confirm if it was a true hot test. To edit the amount of test requests in this series, the manager will complete the following steps:
1. Access the manager portal at https://portal.bactrack.com
2. Click Monitored Users at the top.
3. Click the Monitored User's name under the User section.
4. Click the pencil icon under the Manager column.
5. At the far right, click the drop down next to Hot Test number to change it from 1-6. Click Save Test Settings at the bottom.
